This publication presents, for the first time, materials from the General Land Survey of Left-Bank Ukraine conducted between 1765 and 1769, specifically focused on the town of Baturyn and the Baturyn Company of the Nizhyn Regiment.
The book includes documents primarily related to Baturyn—once the residence of the Hetman and the administrative center of a Cossack company. These records offer valuable information on the town’s topography and toponymy, its layout and buildings, household structures, and detailed demographic data including the number, age, origin, and family ties of the residents of this former Hetman capital.
The edition is intended for historians, local researchers, genealogists, and all those interested in Ukrainian history.
Hardcover, 592 + 448 pages.
