The language of Soviet totalitarianism is considered in the publication in two aspects: as the language of great deception, which created a world of verbal fictions designed to hide the disgusting reality, and as the language of state terrorism, the anti-human essence of which is revealed through the analysis of texts by communist leaders and documents of punitive aythorities. The author pays special attention to the destructive phenomena in family relations and the unprecedented unification of the national life of the peoples of the USSR during the period of communist rule.
